AboutthePlanet.png
In contrast to Zevaria, The Azfeiran universe focuses on just one planet. This is mostly because it was a young universe that only had one inhabited planet, and also because the the Azfeiran and Zevarian universes crashed into each other not long ago, making everything else that was once Azfeiran... now Zevarian.

To that end, Azfeira, a planet from a young universe whose ambient temperature was still too warm to allow its inhabitants knowledge of ice. Azfeira is incredibly small, only around the size of Earth's moon. The atmosphere is like Earth's, though the gravity is lessened slightly. Orbits of planetary masses and general laws of gravity all apply here, so seasons are governed by planets, as are days and planet habitability.  At certain intervals in the planet's orbit through the sky, the planet will be forced into Mass Extinction Events. This is due to proximity to one of the four stars.

During the daylight hours, the sky has a kaleidoscope / soap bubble rainbow effect on the sky. Lighter in early day and darker towards twilight and dark. The sky boasts and exuberance of clouds due to a denser atmosphere.

Night is much rarer than day on this planet, with night disappearing entirely for a quarter of the year, and existing in short supply for half. Night looks more like an Earth night, except for many rainbow colored gas clouds distant out in the sky. This coming from the young universe in development.

The climate is varied throughout the territories to accommodate everything typical except for arctic areas. Due to the ambient temperature in this universe being much warmer than ours, water will not exist in a frozen form on this planet. The planet itself would be considered summerish to an Earth creature, and at some points, would be entirely uninhabitable. This planet has 4 seasons, like earth. They take about twice as long, since both their day/year are about twice as long. First season has day and night of generally equal lengths. Since the plants are more used to extended sunlight, this is akin to winter for us, with plant life occasionally dying off. Second and fourth season are equivalent to each other, with no true night, save varying lengths of twilight in it's place. This is like our spring and fall for plants on this planet. The last season is the same as our summer, being a time of no night whatsoever. During this time, there is either the main star in the sky, or at least 2 of the others, all of which are close enough to dissolve night on the planet.

Azfeira is a small planet in a new universe. Here, the temperature of the universe has yet to drop far enough to allow freezing temperatures on its planets, meaning that Azfeira has no polar zones. All of the species of Azfeira would be particularly sensitive to cold if played within the Zevarian Universe. The planet lives in a 4-star system, with its main star being Azra, secondary star Azleir, tertiary star Arief, and final star Arak. It also boasts a small moon named Akela. Azfeira itself homes only two main landmasses, one large, and one small island in the middle of its only ocean. Each of its terrains is home to a different group of inhabitants. Let’s talk about Ancient Azfeira, before we discuss what it became. In Ancient Azfeira, there were 5 main territories, later expanded upon and walled off to make them more distinct. These territories included Zegar to the North, Veli’Vakka to the East, Feirafet in the South, and Kexlava to the West, all centered around the Ojufiri ring forest. While there has always been the ocean territory of Sak’Lakya, this area is home only to the Lauvo for obvious reasons, and trades only with Kexlava. In Ancient times, the Ojufiri Ring Forest was sacred to all. The mythology of the world believed this to be the place where life began on their planet. The area was guarded and lived in by the Rakkundi, a tribal society of female nature spirits. At this time, the species were great in number, evolving into three separate species: The Naixxo, Ruxxu, and Vexxef Rakkundi. There was little that could compete with them enough to get near the forest, so the vast resources found there were available only by scarce trade or thievery.

In the East, Veli’Vakka flourished as an informational nexus. The species found here, the Loresh’Veli, prized knowledge and refinery above all things, seeking to use their vast system of information gathering to slowly gain power over the other kingdoms. They were a snobbish group that believed themselves better than the other species. In the North in Zegar, the Noble Javsai canids lived, high in the mountains and in the forests that covered their land. Though the mountains meant that like the Loresh’Veli, ships were never an option, they learned to live within their mountains, as well as all over them. This was a thriving kingdom with many natural resources but tended to stay within their own lands unless venturing out to gather information or supplies. Since most of their trades were brought directly by ships from Kexlava, there was little reason for this. Kexlava, in turn, in the West, was the most diverse land on the planet. Here, the Nazo’zitli had a perfect blend of mountains, fresh water, sea water, and small islands to help them flourish. They were the only kingdom able to use the sea to their advantage, meaning they were the only kingdom with ships and the ability to reach the other kingdoms for trade. In the vast plains in the eastern region of their kingdom, the Nefsi wandered. From the sea, Lauvo would come to venture in the tidelands out of curiosity. People would come from the other kingdoms specifically due to the wealth and luxury within which the Nazo’zitli lived. With all this said, the Nazo’zitli were most closely related to the Viking cultures, meaning that integration into this society was often violent at first, and from time to time, they would raid and pillage other lands, just as willingly as trading with them. In the south, the cousins of the Nazo’zitli lived, the Naz’Faorz of Feirafet. This was a tough place to live, only viable to the evolved forms of the Naz’Faorz in long doses. It was a hot land, mixed with desert and dunes in its northern lands to dark mountains and volcanos in its southern lands. It was too hot here now for trees to survive, meaning little vegetation was left here. Nonetheless, they built grand forges, mines, and learned to traverse their deserts. The Island of Vasuki was a place of myth and legend, travelled to by only the most devout followers of the planets various mythologies. It was only reachable by Kexlavan ships or the Lauvo species. The lands at this time were home to other species that would later become extinct, such as the great Rock Giants that guarded Ojufiri, but as these would not survive, we won’t discuss them much.

Ancient Azfeira ended with the approach of a meteor to the planet. The lands were technologically advanced enough to see this coming, but with nowhere to go and no way to tell where the impact would take place, there was little too be done. In the end, the meteor made landfall directly over Ojufiri. The Rock Giants did their best to protect the land, piling on top of each other and surrounding the Great Ring Tree of Ojufiri in an attempt to quite literally catch the meteor. This did manage to help but led to the extinction of the giants. Even with their attempts, the Ring Tree was destroyed, along with most of the forest, a huge crater dug deep into Azfeira from the impact. When everything cleared, what remained of the meteor lay perched upon what was left of the now solidified rock giants. Though the forest began to regrow in the base of the crater, the other species took this opportunity to virtually enslave the Rakkundi, forcing them now to live within the crater itself. Around this the build towering walls in two rings, and conjoined them with sprawling bridges and guard towers, effectively locking the Rakkundi within them to live.
